Chuck Martens (b.1997) is a Minneapolis based artist who photographs natural scenery and man-made structures that strike him as he wanders through cities, parks and gardens. Inspired by classic paintings, he creates photographs that are simultaneously familiar and imagined. Each image goes through an iterative process as he makes and undoes digital adjustments until the image renders the same beauty and intrigue he encountered on his walk.
I offer creative, editorial-style photography for restaurants and hospitality brands. My work highlights the colors, textures and presentation of each dish and drink, while celebrating the talent, hard work and energy of the staff and the character of the interior. I aim to visually capture the spirit of each space and experience and I welcome creative collaboration with your team.
